Our Pillars:
At Qariatul Ihsan, our foundation is built upon five interconnected pillars that embody our commitment to holistic community development, rooted in Islamic principles. These pillars guide our initiatives and reflect our dedication to excellence (Ihsan) in every endeavor.
At Qariatul Ihsan, farming is not just a means of sustenance, but an act of stewardship (khilafah) over the Earth. We adopt eco-conscious methods to cultivate seasonal crops that preserve soil health, respect natural cycles, and produce clean, halal food for our community. Our approach reflects the Islamic principle of balance (mīzān) in creation and use.
“And He it is who produces gardens... eat of their fruit when they ripen, but give their due on the day of harvest.”
— Surah Al-An‘am 6:141
“If the Day of Judgment erupts while you are planting a seedling, finish planting it.”
— Musnad Ahmad 12902, Sahih chain
Sustainable farming safeguards future generations while nourishing today’s ummah.
2. Ethical Livestock & Poultry
We rear cows, goats, chickens, and ducks with rahmah (mercy) and ihsan (excellence)—ensuring that animals are treated ethically, provided clean shelter, natural feed, and humane care. Our livestock farming strictly follows halal standards and avoids any form of exploitation or cruelty.
“Indeed, Allah has prescribed ihsan in everything... if you slaughter, slaughter with excellence.”
— Sahih Muslim 1955
“Whoever is kind to the creatures of God is kind to himself.”
— Abu Dawud 2858
This pillar reminds us that compassion extends to all creatures under our care.
3. Faith & Knowledge (Madrasa & Mosque)
Faith and knowledge form the soul of Qariatul Ihsan. Our madrasa and mosque are dedicated to nurturing both hearts and minds—through Qur’an recitation, Islamic studies, salah, and community halaqahs. We aim to revive the Prophetic tradition of learning that transforms individuals into contributors of khair (good).
“Read in the name of your Lord who created…”
— Surah Al-‘Alaq 96:1
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 5027
Here, faith and knowledge are not separate—one uplifts the other in harmony.
4. Health & Wellbeing (Clinic and Mental Health)
Our health initiatives combine free outpatient care, medicine distribution, and mental wellness support. Inspired by the Prophetic example of caring for both body and soul, we serve the ill with dignity, while offering counseling, compassion, and education on holistic wellbeing.
“There is no disease that Allah has created, except that He also has created its treatment.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 5678
“Your body has a right over you.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 5199
We believe that wellness is an amanah (trust), and every human deserves access to healing.
5. Economy & Enterprise (Organic Marketplace)
Qariatul Ihsan supports halal livelihoods through our organic community marketplace—where farmers and producers sell organic food, Islamic clothing, books, and bio-fertilizers directly to consumers. We promote fair trade, local empowerment, and modest entrepreneurship rooted in ethical Islamic commerce.
“The truthful and trustworthy merchant will be with the Prophets, the truthful, and the martyrs.”
— Sunan al-Tirmidhi 1209, Sahih
“Give full measure and weight in justice.”
— Surah Al-An‘am 6:152
Our market is more than a place of trade—it is a hub for ethical growth and community dignity.
